The Verifer is the official theological magazine of the First Reformed Church in Bulacan. The name Verifer is derived from Latin roots meaning “truth-bearer,” referring to one who carries, proclaims, and defends the truth.
True to its name, The Verifer is devoted to bearing witness to the truth of the gospel revealed in Holy Scripture and faithfully summarized in the historic Reformed confessions. The magazine seeks to proclaim and defend the doctrines of sovereign grace, address theological issues affecting the church, and encourage believers to remain steadfast in the faith.
Through doctrinal articles, biblical studies, historical reflections, and reports from the life and ministry of the First Reformed Church in Bulacan, The Verifer aims to strengthen the church in the truth and to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.
Standing in the tradition of the Protestant Reformation, The Verifer continues the church’s calling to uphold the enduring truths of the Reformation: Sola Scriptura, Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solus Christus, Soli Deo Gloria.
